Otherwise, the Install OS X El Capitan application should have been successfully created in the /Applications folder. If necessary, from the sidebar of a Finder application window, choose to eject the Install OS X volume. I recently updated my Mac to OS X El Capitan (Version 10.11.1) and now have trouble with my cordova and ionic installations. Both run well under Yosemite. $ npm –v shows $ 3.3.12 $ node shows $ v. Under OS X El Capitan (10.11), many Audio Unit plug-ins do not currently pass AU validation in Logic Pro X or Main Stage. This currently includes all MOTU instruments, including MachFive 3, Ethno 2, BPM and Electric Keys. We therefore recommend that you DO NOT upgrade your system to 10.11 until this issue is resolved.
